PARK(ing) Day Houston 2015
“PARK(ing) Day is a annual open-source global event where citizens, artists and activists collaborate to temporarily transform metered parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces: temporary public places.” -PARK(ing) Day Website
TRUEGRID wants you to come see us and our friends tomorrow for PARKing (Day) Houston.
PARK(ing) Day Houston participants range from architecture firms, to design companies, and eco-friendly manufacturers like us here at TRUEGRID! We are going to take over downtown Houston for the day and convert a whole block of parking spaces into urban parks that will be free and open for the community to enjoy. Building a sustainable future requires engagement with the community and reimagining standard parking space can lead to reimagining our world. We will have soft drinks, snacks and games. Yes, games.
